Windows release that adds a System theme preference and colours expressions inside Python f-strings.
Highlights
- Theme preference now includes System (Use system setting), and new installs default to it
- The toolbar cycles Light, Dark, and System; System follows the Windows apps light/dark setting and updates when Windows changes
- The System toolbar control shows a monitor icon with a half-filled circle instead of a font glyph
- Python files highlight
{expression}inside f-strings in a distinct colour; doubled braces stay string-coloured
Requirements
- Windows 10 version 1809 or later (build 17763)
- 64-bit (win-x64) self-contained installer-free executable
- Previews need the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime, which is included in Windows 11 and in updated Windows 10
Notes
Installed copies of 1.1.5 and earlier cannot verify this update, because they trust the previous signing key. Download 1.1.11 once from this page and replace your copy. Copies of 1.1.7 and later update from inside the application as usual.
This release is distributed as an unsigned executable. Verify the published SHA-256 checksum before running. Auto-update trust comes from the separately signed stable manifest, not Authenticode on the executable.
