PDFUtil is a Windows desktop application for viewing and editing local PDF files. Your documents, signatures and saved profile values remain on your device unless you explicitly consent to send extracted text or selected profile values to a supported AI CLI.

Complete supported form fields and place reusable signatures without uploading the document.

Use AI with explicit consent

Use the Fill Form button to complete supported fields from details you have given PDFUtil and what your installed AI already knows about you.

Capabilities

  • View PDFs with continuous scrolling, zoom, multi-tab workflows, find and text selection
  • Organise pages: extract, duplicate, rotate, move, delete, insert and split documents
  • Convert ordered PNG, JPEG, BMP and WebP images into PDF pages
  • Fill supported AcroForm text fields and checkboxes on the canvas
  • Add markup: text, text boxes, highlight, underline, strikethrough, redact (visual blackout; does not remove underlying PDF text), rectangle, ellipse and line
  • Import and place signature images with encrypted local storage
  • Crop pages and edit document metadata such as title, author, subject and keywords
  • Apply or remove AES-128 password protection when saving
  • Print and print-preview documents on Windows
  • Optional AI Assistant that sends consented extracted text or selected approved profile values through a supported CLI, so AI queries go through your own subscription and Baker Utilities does not add API charges
